Sangham state president Y Kesava Rao and secretary P Peddi Reddy released a poster in connection with the meeting at the Sangham office here on Friday. On this occasion, the leaders said the meeting would discuss all the challenges being faced by farmers.

They wondered how the Centre would impose GST on agriculture and allied sectors. The farming community would be forced to bear additional burden due to GST implementation. They said that the farmers have already been incurring heavy losses due to lack of minimum support price to the agriculture produce. They demanded the government to withdraw proposals to give lands and funds to Palekhar who is campaigning on natural procedures in the agriculture sector.
