Vijayawada: Skill training for women will be conducted at Makineni Basavapunnaiah Vignana Kendram (MBVK) from July 20, said MBVK programming committee convener KSC Bose at a press meet here on Saturday.
Bose said that skill training for women would be given on dress making, embroidery, fabric painting, mahendi, paper bags making, fruits and vegetables processing and sari rolling. Interested women can avail of the opportunity, he said.
He said that former Jana Shikshana director Vidya Khanna would be the adviser for the training programme. The programme would be held under the guidance of experienced resource persons for skill training of women, he added. Interested people can submit their applications at MBVK and get enrolled.
