New Delhi: Union Sports Minister Vijay Goel on Saturday felicitated star shuttler Kidambi Srikanth and his coach Pullela Gopichand at his official residence here.
Srikanth is now the only Indian man to win the Superseries Premier, Superseries and Grand Prix Gold title. Last week, the Guntur player had won the Australian Open.
"Srikanth's performance has been truly exceptional and his recent wins have made the nation proud. I am delighted to meet and honour him, even Gopichand has constantly given us the best players with the best coaching and guidance". Goel said.
"We are committed towards development of every game and our Sports Ministry along with SAI will provide complete support to all players and support staff," he added.
