Visakhapatnam: Twenty-five-year-old Mounica died on Saturday while undergoing treatment at KGH. Mounica was admitted to KGH on June 29 when she was collapsed at Visakhapatnam railway station. She was admitted in an unconscious state. On the victim's right hand there are two tattos one is in 'Amma' in Telugu, while second one in English 'HR'. There are some black spots on the both hand seems to the burn marks.

While observing the reports in the media, the State Legal Services Authority directed its district wing to ensure a better treatment to the girl. On the directive of the District Judge Justice Secretary of DLSA S Damodar and a panel of advocates visited the KGH on Friday and directed the KGH authorities to provide complete medical care to the girl.

The DLSA directed the KGH authorities to follow all the legal procedures before disposing the body. The police are also started investigation to trace out the girl’s address. According to the KGH staffers, the girl informed them that her name was Mounica and she hails from Nellore.

"We have conducted all necessary tests on the girl. We found that she is suffering from brain tumour. There are no injuries on her body and she is not a rape victim. Shed died due to brain tumor and some other illness. It is completely a normal death only," superintendent of KGH Arjuna told the Hans India.

Meanwhile, the Fifth Town police sent the images of Mounica to Nellore police to know whether any missing case was registered. The police asked the KGH authorities to preserve the body for 72 hours, as anyone came to claim the body.
Talking to The Hans India, Kancharapalem police station Inspector of Police Chandrasekhar said that according to the DLSA officials, a case was registered and investigation is on.

"Except three bread slices, there is no other paraphernalia with her. When she was sleeping close to general ticket counter at Gnanapuram entrance of railway station, the RPF asked her to move out. She sat from morning to evening at the railway station. At about 5 pm, the girl collapsed and some locals called up 108 and shifted her to KGH. We have informed Nellore CCRB to find out any missing case was registered," Inspector Chandrasekhar said.
