Finally, the YSRCP top leadership is said to have given green signal to welcome Malladi Vishnu, who has a good following in Ajit Singh Nagar, Satyanarayanapuram, Gandhi Nagar and other parts of the city.
The desertion of Malladi Vishnu will be a big blow to the Congress, which has already lost some popular leaders in the city. The Congress had got weakened drastically since the bifurcation of the state with many leaders quitting the party and joining either TDP or YSRCP.
Former MLA and late Devineni Rajasekhar (Nehru) along with a large number of supporters joined the TTDP about six months ago. Now another important leader in the city, Malladi Vishnu, is ready to quit the party. YSRCP will be benefitted from the entry of Vishnu.
