Speaking to reporters, Vundavalli said that he came to Assembly to see the new building as he did not visit it earlier. “Assembly building is very nice,” he appreciated and said that the controversy was unwarranted.

“If I say that the Assembly building is good, some people will propagate that I will join Telugu Desam Party. If not, they will say I will join YSR Congress. In fact, I am not affiliated to any political party now,” he maintained.He also said that he would not contest in elections in 2019.
