Ashok Kumar thanked Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Director General of Police Nanduri Sambasiva Rao for giving him the opportunity. He wished good yield for farmers with bountiful rains, who have been suffering because draught.“The police will keep a tight vigil on factionism.

Anti-social activities won’t be tolerated. People will be sensitised over road safety. Stop-Watch-Go programme will be intensified. Special teams will be constituted to solve kidnap cases. Community policing will be given top priority,” he said. Ashok Kumar sought the cooperation of people in maintaining peace in the district.

Additional Superintendent of Police K Malyadri, DSPs B Mallikarjuna, J Mallikarjuna Varma, N Subba Rao, Ravi Kumar, Sivarami Reddy, Venkata Ramana, Chidananda Reddy, Venkata Ramanjaneyulu, Narasingappa, Naga Subbanna, Mahabub Basha, Venkateswarlu, Chinna Krishna and Circle Inspectors were present.
