Reunite missing boy with parents, villagers to officials

Villagers of Pedda Gopanapalli have urged the officials to reunite six-year-old missing kid Nagaraju with parents which they found him on May 24. Pedda Gopanapalli is located on the outskirts of Kuppam. The villagers have fed him all these days. But, the boy started crying for parents for the last two days.

Tirupati: Villagers of Pedda Gopanapalli have urged the officials to reunite six-year-old missing kid Nagaraju with parents which they found him on May 24. Pedda Gopanapalli is located on the outskirts of Kuppam. The villagers have fed him all these days. But, the boy started crying for parents for the last two days.

Unable to console him, the villagers brought the issue to the notice of police and Kuppam Area Development Authority (KADA) special officer. He directed them to handover the boy to Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) in
Kuppam. Accordingly, he was handed over to CDPO Lalitha, who said that he will be shifted to district Child Welfare Department, to take care of him.

The villagers, however, saying that was not the solution for this problem. The authorities should take steps to print posters with the boy photo in Tamil Nadu as PeddaGopanapalli located on Andhra Pradesh-Tamil Nadu border. The posters should be sent to Tamil Nadu and with proper publicity only the boy can reunite with his parents, they said.
