A Class X student at California, Khushi, who was motivated by the philanthropic activities of her parents and grandparents, made friends with the deaf and dumb children and learnt the sign language in her past tours here.

During her present tour in India, she decided to provide a digital classroom for the deaf students in Ongole to help them learn through visual technologies. She said that she bought the digital classroom equipment with her savings and donated it to the residential school principal.

After inaugurating the digital classroom, she said that she loved the town where her mother was born and brought up. She said that after witnessing the hardships faced by the deaf children here, she was greatly moved and wanted to help them learn things in a better way.

Therefore, as part of our regular service activities, she said that she chose this school to donate the digital classroom equipment for them. “I will be available to these children regularly and wish to provide more help to bring happiness in their lives in future,” she added.
