Centre will bear GST burden on Polavaram project: Yanamala Ramakrishnudu
AP Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu on Wednesday, informed that the Goods and Services Tax won\'t have any effect on Tirumala Srivari Laddu Prasadam and that only the rented rooms will have an impact of over Rs 500.

Speaking to the media, the Minister explained that the GST came into implementation after one-and-a-half decades of deliberations, hence it was not right to suggest that it was being done without any proper planning.
He further said that keeping in the public's perspective and prevailing conditions in view, there might be a possibility of changes in GST.
Pointing out that the Centre maintained revenue neutrality by not letting petrol, diesel and Excise Tax come under the GST purview, he said that the Centre also is bearing the GST burden on the Polavaram project.
