Government to repay dues to ferro alloy companies
The state government has decided to repay the dues to the tune of Rs 67 crores to sick ferro alloys companies. The Group of Ministers (GoM) meeting presided over by finance minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu on Wednesday discussed the sick industries concerned to ferro alloys and co-operative sugar factories.
Amaravati: The state government has decided to repay the dues to the tune of Rs 67 crores to sick ferro alloys companies. The Group of Ministers (GoM) meeting presided over by finance minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu on Wednesday discussed the sick industries concerned to ferro alloys and co-operative sugar factories.
The meeting decided to clear the dues to ferro alloys companies, where the government was lending its support to them for the past 15 years. Similarly, the meeting also decided encourage interested private persons to take over six co-operative sugar factories in the state in view of the welfare of the workers.
Industries minister N Amaranatha Reddy, marketing minister C Adinarayana Reddy, labour minister K Atchannaidu took part in the meeting.
