Jagan’s conspiracy to provoke people will be foiled, says Uma Maheswara Rao
Irrigation minister Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao on Friday said that Opposition leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy was trying to create unrest among people in the state on religious, caste and regional lines. He said the state government would deal with such cheap tricks by the Opposition leader with an iron hand and added that remarks of Jagan and Vijay Sai Reddy were not suitable to their stature.
Vijayawada: Irrigation minister Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao on Friday said that Opposition leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy was trying to create unrest among people in the state on religious, caste and regional lines. He said the state government would deal with such cheap tricks by the Opposition leader with an iron hand and added that remarks of Jagan and Vijay Sai Reddy were not suitable to their stature.
Speaking to media at the Irrigation department’s office here on Friday, Uma Maheswara Rao said the YSRCP was organising plenary with the money earned through corruption. Despite taking padayatra and using his father YSR’s image, the minister said that the people of state made him to sit in the Opposition in the 2014 election.
“Now for the upcoming election in 2019, they are using the services of political strategist Prashant Kishor, he said. Devineni pointed out that the strategies of Prashant Kishor did not work for Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and the same outcome would be repeated in Andhra Pradesh too.
In the past, YSR’s role was suspected behind the communal riots in Hyderabad and now Jagan is playing the same strategy to create unrest in AP, the minister said.
