State best destination for investments: Kamineni
Minister for Health Kamineni Srinivas said that Andhra Pradesh is becoming a preferred destination for investments. He further stated that there are abundant opportunities in food processing & horticulture sectors in the state. Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Vijayawada, organised ‘Food Biz India 2017’, a conference on ‘Horticulture and food processing industries’ here on Friday.
Vijayawada: Minister for Health Kamineni Srinivas said that Andhra Pradesh is becoming a preferred destination for investments. He further stated that there are abundant opportunities in food processing & horticulture sectors in the state.
Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Vijayawada, organised ‘Food Biz India 2017’, a conference on ‘Horticulture and food processing industries’ here on Friday.
Commissioner of Horticulture Chiranjiv Choudhary said that the food processing and horticulture in the state would get top priority and informed about the various schemes launched by the department of horticulture in the state.
Food processing industry members from various districts and other states attended the seminar and took part in the deliberations, the session provided a forum for industry to have a direct interaction with the Horticulture Commissioner.
CII Andhra Pradesh chairman JSRK Prasad, CII Vijayawada zone chairman Venkat Ram Reddy and various government officials from NABARD, CFTRI and ANGRAU were present.
