KE Krishna Murthy assures better services to patients

Kurnool: Deputy Chief Minister, KE Krishna Murthy ordered the Hospital Superintendent, J Veera Swamy to ensure power supply round the clock at emergency wards in the General Hospital. He paid a surprise visit to various wards in the hospital on Sunday.

He first v isited Super Specialty ward later, children ward, Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and other emergency wards and inspected the arrangements. After inspection, he ordered the Superintendent to replace old wiring with new and also advised to take necessary steps for the installation of additional transformers to ensure power supply round the clock.

He further advised Veera Swamy to initiate steps to facilitate direct admission to patients besides general out patients and children out patients.

While inspecting the children’s ward he interacted with the attendants and asked about the problems being faced by them. On learning about severe water problems, he assured that he will facilitate a RO plant.

The Minister also assured the patients that the government is striving hard to enhance quality treatment to the patients round the clock with eminent doctors. He further advised the Superintendent to ensure garbage- free hospital.

District Collector, Sathya Narayana, Joint Collector, Prasanna Venkatesh, Kurnool MLA, SV Mohan Reddy Hospital Superintendent, J Veera Swamy and doctors of Kurnool General Hospital accompanied Murthy during his surprise visit.
