Spot admissions at BR Ambedkar University
Post graduation seats that remained vacant after counselling would be filled up through spot admissions at BR Ambedkar University (BRAU) campus in Etcherla on July 10 and 11, said registrar Gunta Tulasi Rao and principal P Chiranjivi here on Saturday.
Srikakulam: Post graduation seats that remained vacant after counselling would be filled up through spot admissions at BR Ambedkar University (BRAU) campus in Etcherla on July 10 and 11, said registrar Gunta Tulasi Rao and principal P Chiranjivi here on Saturday.
Spot admissions process was launched for both regular and self-finance courses at post-graduation level following the directive of In-Charge Vice-Chancellor Gollapalli Nageswara Rao, they explained. Interested candidates should reach the campus on both days by 9 am with relevant documents.
“Out of 30 seats in Bio-Technology 22 were filled, while eight remained vacant, in Geo-Physics one seat is vacant out of 15, in Physics seven lying vacant out of 42, in Mathematics three seats lying vacant out of 40. In Organic Chemistry 27 seats were filled up out of 30, in Geology eight were filled up out of 15.
Ten seats are available in Economics, Rural Development, Social Work, Commerce, M Ed, Library Science and English. While in Journalism out of 48 seats only 15 were filled up and 33 remained vacant.
