Amaravati: State government has taken decision to resolve issuing of permission to old layouts in Amaravati. Group of Ministers (GoM) held a meeting with CRDA officials and real estate developers at Secretariat on Monday on the issue.The GoM decided to give permissions to 99 old layouts that had been in pending at CRDA.

The GoM directed officials that permissions would be given to the layouts within July 25 after a formal decision in Cabinet meeting that would be held onJuly 18.

Officials told the GoM that of the total old layouts, 22 were within the CRDA master plan and another 77 were out of master plan. However, realtors told the ministers that they would ready to leave 40 per cent of site in layouts to CRDA and give site for extension of roads.

They also expressed willingness to allot plots to customers in another area, if they lose their existing plots for road extension.
They also agreed to pay Rs 80,000 to the plots that are within 500 mt to residential areas and Rs 1.20 lakh, if they are out of 500 mt for creating infrastructure facilities in the lay outs.

Minister for Municipal Administration P Narayana, Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister Nara Lokesh, Human Resources Development Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao and Labour Welfare minister P Satyanarayana were part of GOM.
