New Delhi: Union minister of urban development M Venkaiah Naidu, here on Wednesday assured the minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao and Union minister YS Chowdary, that he would work for the Cabinet approval for tribal universities in both AP and Telangana apart from Central university at Anantapur and ensure that the Bills would come up in the Parliament in the upcoming session itself.

Speaking to media, after discussing the issues related to institutions of higher learning sanctioned to AP and Telangana, with the Union HRD minister Prakash Javadekar, Naidu said he sought the DPRs on all the pending works in this regard so that the HRD ministry could speed up their completion.

There was no fund constraint for any of the new projects and the HRD ministry was keen to implement the promises on time, he added, citing the decision taken by the CPWD department to complete the pending building works on all campuses.
Wherever land had been earmarked by the state governments, there would be no delay in establishing the institutions, he said.
