ABVP protests school fee hike
Protesting the abnormal hike of tuition fees in private and corporate educational institutions, the ABVP on Friday organised a schools’ bandh.
Chittoor: Protesting the abnormal hike of tuition fees in private and corporate educational institutions, the ABVP on Friday organised a schools’ bandh.
All the government and private schools have remained closed due to bandh call given by ABVP. The ABVP activists under the aegis of their district organiser Madhusudan organised a rally in the city raising slogans against the managements of schools for increasing the fee.
Speaking on the occasion, Madhusudan alleged that District Education department has no control over the private and unaided schools in the district. “In the wake of failure of government schools, the managements of private educational institutions are collecting abnormal fees from the parents,” he pointed out.
The District Educational Officer (DEO) should take immediate action on private schools and make the fee affordable to parents, he added. The leaders have submitted a memorandum to DEO Samuel seeking action on private schools.
