PB Siddhartha Arts and Science college (PBS) computer science department had organised a two-day work shop for lecturers on Data Mining which started on Friday.

PB Siddhartha Arts and Science college (PBS) computer science department had organised a two-day work shop for lecturers on Data Mining which started on Friday.

The work shop was held at the college seminar hall and the chief guest and the resource person of the two-day work shop was the head of TrainYou Professional Singapore Technology, Deepak Gupta.

Gupta said that by using data mining and with the help of SQL server reports service and SQL server analysis services software, wide range of information round the globe can be acquired. He also explained how to use the acquired information using data mining as per the requirement of the institutions.

About 25 lecturers from various institutions from the district participated in the workshop. PBS principal M Ramesh, director Vemuri Babu Rao, academic and administration dean J Rajesh, computer science HoD TS Ravi Kiran, K Shobana, K Sridhar were present.
