He said that his first priority would be to safeguard the hill shrine and devotees and would make efforts for security strengthening at Srivari temple and four Mada streets, Alipri, GNC check post, two footpaths from Tirupati and surroundings of Tirumala.

He called upon media to report any irregularities and unauthorised activities at hill shrine directly to him for taking necessary action. The CVSO said that he would arrange high resolution CCTVs to recognise faces of persons for tightening security. “With the cooperation of TTD EO, officials and devotees, we will perform security and vigilance duties in a responsible and foolproof manner,” Ravi Krishna added.

He appealed to devotees to inform the security authorities if they find any suspected persons or leftover luggage at four Mada streets, hill roads, rest houses, Kalyanakatta, Annadanam complex and bus stand, where huge number of people gather.
