Prabir takes over as new CSI head
Prabir Raychaudhury, Director (Commercial), RINL, took over as the new chairman of the local chapter of Computer Society of India (CSI) for the year 2017-18 at its 23rd annual general meeting here on Saturday.
Visakhapatnam: Prabir Raychaudhury, Director (Commercial), RINL, took over as the new chairman of the local chapter of Computer Society of India (CSI) for the year 2017-18 at its 23rd annual general meeting here on Saturday.
Addressing the members, Raychaudhury called upon them to take up the challenging job of bridging the technology gap in the society and leverage IT for all-around development of the country. DN Rao, Director (Operations), RINL, presided over and relinquished office as the outgoing Chairman of the chapter.
Addressing the gathering, he highlighted various activities taken up by the local chapter of CSI from setting up of computer lab in a remote village school to organising international conference on latest trends.
Anindya Paul, scretary of the chapter, presented the annual report and Y Satyanarayana, treasurer, tabled the annual accounts which was passed by the members. Y N Reddy, Chairman of the Nomination Committee, announced the election results and introduced the new management committee members.
