Known for its pristine ecological vibrancy in the city of destiny, the Kamakabala Konda wild life sanctuary is all set to be the crowd puller as many adventure activities have been introduced two days ago.

The lush green spot with water bodies located opposite Zoo Park is no more a picnic spot during Kaarthika Maasam, but on its way to match with the new tastes and trends of the city folks.

Joining hands with Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation, Live In Adventures have come up with Burma Bridge, Zip Liner, Sky Walking, Goat Walking, Tyre Walk, Valley Crossing and Kayaking.

“Nearly, Rs 12 crore projects, including river crossing, watch towers and many others are in the offing. Some more eco-friendly facilities will be set up soon,” said Ramu, forest section officer.

Doing adventure activities is not only fun, but also acts as a stress reliever just like laughter and humour, as proved by researchers. Whatever may be the strategy; the trick is pulling out yourself from busy schedules to give space for your inner instincts.

“Surely, people taking up these adventure activities feel elated and thrilled besides it brings them new energy. They will have wonderful time in the lap of the nature,” says B Balaram Naidu, director of Live In Adventures.

Apart from deploying Live In Adventures safety team, there has been lot of attention given to safety measures to avoid any untoward incident while doing adventure activities, he noted.

“It gave me goose bumps while entering Kambala Konda. I never imagined that the place will be so serene with rich presence of bio-diversity. It is blissful doing Kayaking in the lake against the backdrop of hills,” said Srinivas, a medical student.
