No relief for Diwarkar Reddy from travel ban
High Court at Hyderabad on Monday refused to grant interim stay against the travel ban imposed on Telugu Desam Party Lok Sabha member J C Diwakar Reddy.
High Court at Hyderabad on Monday refused to grant interim stay against the travel ban imposed on Telugu Desam Party Lok Sabha member J C Diwakar Reddy.
The travel ban has been imposed on Diwakar Reddy following his alleged rude behaviour towards the staff at Visakhapatnam airport recently.
Justice S V Bhatt while hearing the matter on Monday rejected the plea for any interim order. The MP cited the Presidential election and the monsoon session of Parliament to plead for an interim order.
The judge asked whether the MP would allow any unruly elements in his Diwakar travels buses. He made it clear that he would pass an order only after hearing the private airlines also in this matter and directed issue of notices to those airlines and posted the case to July 21.
