Guntur: Rain has not diluted the spirit of athletes who are taking part in the 57th Inter-State National Senior Athletics Championship being held at the Acharya Nagarjuna University in the district on Monday. The organisers have conducted events like 400 meters men and women race, Javelin Throw, High Jump and Pole Vault on third day of four-day Senior National Athletics Championship.
Braving the rain, national and international athletes participated in games as participation in the meet is compulsory for the selection for Athletics World Championship which will be held in London in August first week.
