Amaravati: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu directed the party leaders to complete the targets within one year as the next year would be almost the election year, which is very crucial for the party.

Addressing the meeting at the Secretariat on Tuesday, Naidu said that the district ministers, in-charge ministers, MPs, MLAs, MLCs and constituency in-charges should work with coordination to achieve the set targets.

The Chief Minister warned that he would monitor the performance and progress of each leader of the party ranging from Janmabhoomi committee member to minister.

Finding fault with some of the leaders who still maintaining egos, the Chief Minister said that everyone should realise their mistakes if any and should rectify their behaviour and work with team spirit.

Emphasising good governance which should be acceptable to people, he said that every leader, including himself should enhance their capacities and capabilities and update themselves in technology.

While asking to conduct party and public meetings in every district once in a month which should be attended by all party leaders, Naidu said every constituency should have a dash board which should be updated time to time after resolving the issues.

He asked the leaders to meet people regularly and all ministries should release quarterly progress of concerned departments in booklets and distribute them to people.

“Ninety per cent of people are expressing satisfaction on pensions, ration and insurance schemes during last three years.

We must reach out to 90 per cent in that regard. Similarly, 80 per cent people are satisfied concerning to NREGS works, housing schemes, Dwacra groups.

We should take the figure to 90 per cent in the coming days. Even losing Rs 800 crore revenue, we have brought free sand policy for the benefit of common people.

But, we must curb irregularities in selling of sand. We will monitor liquor policy regularly and bring out changes if there are any loopholes in it,” he said.
