The AP Women’s Commission Chairperson spoke to the media at Women and Child Development Department office here on Wednesday. A photo of a woman and her five girl children, who were wandering in Visakhapatnam, was published in a newspaper, Nannapaneni Rajakumari said she had come to the Port City to know the whereabouts of that family who hails from Vanavishnapuram village in Srikakulam district.

After the press meet, Nannapaneni Rajakumari went to Maddilapalem, Gurudwara, Seethamadara, RTC Complex, Railway Station, Allipuram and other important junctions in the city to find the woman and children. By showing photograph of the woman and children, she appealed to the auto drivers, labourers and students to inform the officials if they see the woman. ACPs Papa Rao, Bangaru Papa, Legal Cell members Uma Devi, Suman and ICDS officers were present.
