AP to celebrate Independence Day in Tirupati

Andhra Pradesh government will be celebrating the Independence Day this year in Tirupati.

Post bifurcation, the state government has been choosing different cities to celebrate the Independence Day every year. Last year, the celebrations were held in Anantapur.

The venue is yet to be decided, following which security personnel will be taking over the arrangements in terms of security measures. Also, a committee is likely to be appointed to look into the preparations of the event.
