Ganja, liquor bottles seized at Alipiri check-post
The TTD security personnel seized 100 grams of ganja and 7 liquor bottles from pilgrims at Alipiri check-post here on Monday. Speaking to the media, Chief Security and Vigilance Officer (CVSO) Ake Ravi Krishna said that the TTD security at Alipiri check-post seized ganja from a pilgrim called Dathatri while searching his luggage when he was on a way to Tirumala shrine. Tiurpati: The TTD security personnel seized 100 grams of ganja and 7 liquor bottles from pilgrims at Alipiri check-post here on Monday. Speaking to the media, Chief Security and Vigilance Officer (CVSO) Ake Ravi Krishna said that the TTD security at Alipiri check-post seized ganja from a pilgrim called Dathatri while searching his luggage when he was on a way to Tirumala shrine. The TTD security handed over Dathatri to Tirumala II town police station for further investigation.
In two different cases, the CVSO stated that security staff at Alipiri have found three full bottles of liquor from a car belonging to Tamil Nadu pilgrim and four full bottles of liquor from a car of Karnataka pilgrim. The IPS officer appreciated the security personnel for being alert on the job and seizing ganja and liquor bottles.
