YSRSU demands APPSC fill up 32,000 vacant jobs
Demanding APPSC to immediately issue notification for filling up the vacant posts, for taking up recruitment for the benefit of unemployed youth, YSR Students Union (YSRSU) of the Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) branch staged a dharna on varsity campus here on Monday.
Tirupati: Demanding APPSC to immediately issue notification for filling up the vacant posts, for taking up recruitment for the benefit of unemployed youth, YSR Students Union (YSRSU) of the Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) branch staged a dharna on varsity campus here on Monday.
The protesters submitted a representation to the statue of Ambedkar, as mark of protest against government apathy intaking up recruitment to fill vacant posts for employment to unemployed.
SVU campus YSRSU secretary V Hemanth Kumar Reddy said though 32,000 posts are vacant, the APPSC has so far not taken steps for issuing notification to fill the posts while the government washed off its hands by issuing notification for 968 posts of Group II category against 7,000 vacant posts. If the TDP government has any commitment for the welfare of unemployed youth, it should immediately act, he said.
