Strongly criticizing the house arrest of Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham, YSR Congress Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy took to Twitter extending his support to the Kapus.
The Kapu leader and former Minister Mudragada Padmanabham who decided to launch padayatra on Wednesday from Kirlampudi in East Godavari to AP Secretariat at Velagapudi in Guntur district faced obstruction from the police at the gate point of his residence itself.
Stating that the Kapus were taking up agitations only because they were promised to be included in the Backward Classes category, YS Jagan further pointed out that the ruling party had assured the Kapus of BC reservations during the time of elections.

In his post, YS Jagan further flayed the arrests made by the ruling party and added that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu was making a mistake.
