Chandrababu: Need to curb drug culture

Addressing the drug issue prevailing in the Telugu states, AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu urged parents to be alert since drug addiction is rising among children.

Mentioning that students in schools and colleges were getting addicted to drugs due to the negligent attitude of parents, Chandrababu cited the example of the widespread drug culture in educational institutions in Hyderabad.

He further said that there is fear that ganja cultivation and transport might result in a bad influence in the society in Andhra Pradesh.

The Chief Minister flayed the drug racketeers for playing with the lives of children and asserted that the need to curb all this is high priority.
