Ramasubba Reddy, Farooq sworn in as MLCs
TDP leaders P Ramasubba Reddy and NMD Farooq sworn in as MLCs in Governor’s quota here on Wednesday. Legislative Council in-charge Chairman Reddy Subramanyam performed the oath talking procedure by the MLCs in Legislative Council hall in Velagapudi on Wednesday.
Amaravati: TDP leaders P Ramasubba Reddy and NMD Farooq sworn in as MLCs in Governor’s quota here on Wednesday. Legislative Council in-charge Chairman Reddy Subramanyam performed the oath talking procedure by the MLCs in Legislative Council hall in Velagapudi on Wednesday.
Ramasubba Reddy of Kadapa district was promised MLC post by the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, when Jamalamadugu MLA Adinarayna Reddy of same district, who defected from YSR Congress to Telugu Desam Party, was inducted into Cabinet in the recent reshuffle. Chief Minister also promised MLC to Farooq in view of Nandyal by-election.
Minister for energy Kimidi Kala Venkata Rao, MLC T D Janardhan, Civil Supplies Corporation managing director Linga Reddy, AP Legislative Assembly special secretary PPK Ramacharyulu and others participated.
