Kurnool: Governor ESL Narasimhan during his two-day visit to the district, offered prayers at the Ahobilam temple on Thursday.
The Governor landed at lower Ahobilam and offered prayers according to the rituals of Ahobilam Mutt in the presence of 46th pontiff Sri Ranganatha Yatindra Mahadesikan and other priests.
Later, the Governor drove to upper Ahobilam and offered prayers to Sri Narasimha Swamy temple. The temple authorities officially received him with temple honours.
Tight security was arranged in and around the temples at Upper Ahobilam and Lower Ahobilam in view of the Governor’s visit. He has made his night stay at Ahobilam on Wednesday and on Thursday he reached Kurnool and flew back to Hyderabad.
