Inspecting the construction works of the court buildings at District Court Complex on Friday, he said the government had released Rs 30 crore funds as per the revised estimation plans to construct a six-storied court building and cellar with parking lift.

Minister says state has sanctioned new buildings for Narsipatnam and Araku courts

The Minister directed the officials to work on two shifts to complete the buildings by 2018 and assured to release more funds, if needed to complete the court buildings in the stipulated time frame. Besides the district court buildings, the government was also sanctioned new buildings for Narsipatnam and Araku courts. The construction of those buildings would be started next year, the Minister added.

Earlier, addressing the Visakhapatnam Bar Association members, the Minister announced Rs 50 lakh from his MLA funds for construction of an auditorium in the court complex. When MLA P Vishnukumar Raju requested for the construction a multi-purpose auditorium with all the facilities, the minister sanctioned the funds.

Visakhapatnam East MLA Velagapudi Ramakrishna Babu assured to sanction funds from MLA quota funds to the construction of the auditorium in the next fiscal. President of Bar Association P Balakrishna, President of Forum for Legal Professionals Kuppili Muralidhar and other members including K Jagadish, BVR Murthy, Narasinga Rao, Krishna Mohan J Prithviraj and PS Naidu were present.
