Amaravati: The IT ministry is creating a common platform e-Pragati for usage of people and officials. In this process a training programme to officials will be inaugurated by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on August 1.

Indian School of Business (ISB) is going to train 120 Govt officials for six months for effective implementation of AP government’s prestigious e-Pragati programme in phase - I.

The State government is committed to bring more transparency and accountability in administration. As part of the move both the state government, SRITNE (Sriniraju Centre for IT and the Net worked Economy) Dispensary research centre and Indian School of Business are framing various programmes and modules to train the officials for effective implementation of e-Pragati programme.

In machine mode, it is aimed to make deference to people’s lives through best practices in learning and enabling them to impact self, organisation. It is targeted to train over 50,000 executives. e-Pragati is a major digital transformation initiative that aims to implement 24 unique IT projects across all departments to cater more than 300 citizen- centric services.

The digital transformation in public governance is a custom-designed learning certificate programme for select group of officials who would be future champions of e-Pragati journey.

The same team which was trained in by the IIM, Ahmedabad under the leadership of the Chief Minister are now leading the present vision of the training programme include empowering e-Pragati champions to successfully leverage the potential of technology to transform public governance efficiency and effectiveness towards providing citizen centric services.

The training programme was aimed at exposing to digital India policies, plans and implementation of road maps, deeper perspectives on IT enabled public governance, understand the strategies to enable innovations through technology.

The programme also would focus to enable key decisions for e- Governance projects and applications, provide insight frame works and models for procuring IT-enabled services, enhanced readiness to confidently execute digital change initiatives.

Digital transformation in public governance certificate programme faculty include renowned resident and visiting faculty from ISB along with experienced industry experts with relevant subject matter expertise.
