Nandyal by-polls: Bhuma Akhila Priya stands by her challenge

With the Nandyal by-polls nearing, the TDP and YSR Congress candidates have intensified the campaign since the election schedule has been announced.

In the presence of YSRCP candidate Shilpa Mohan Reddy, Twelfth ward TDP councillor Haneef Basha and his followers had joined the party. However, Basha has disappeared and his followers are worried about him. The YSRCP activists even staged a protest demanding police to bring Basha safely to the house.

Speaking in this regard, Shilpa Mohan Reddy alleged that Haneef Basha quit TDP due to harassment of Bhuma Akhila Priya.

Responding to these allegations, TDP candidate Bhuma Akhila Priya denied them and went on to stand by her challenge of quitting politics if TDP loses Nandyal by-election.
