Guntur: People can rise to great heights if they have talent, said Veda Seeds Director Thulasi Dharma Charan while addressing a press conference along with Managing Director Dr P Chandrashekar at Veda Seeds office here on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion,
Charan said an eight –day- long Veda Seeds Cricket cup tournament would begin at Majeti Guruvaiah sports ground from August 5. He said they were conducting the tournament for last two years to encourage the local talent.
Chandrashekar expressed his happiness for conducting the tournament in association with the players association. He urged the youth to give priority to sports, to relive from mental stress.
Chandrashekar lamented that there were insufficient sports grounds in the cities as compared to the villages. He thanked the people who were encouraging Veda Cup for making it a huge success. Chandrashekar asked the teams to register their team names on or before August 4.
