Jupudi denies move to wind up SC Corporation

New Delhi: Chairman of the AP State Schedule Castes Cooperative Finance Corporation (SC Corporation) Jupudi Prabhakar Rao here on Tuesday rubbished the reports that the corporation would be wound up soon.
Referring to the reports to this effect in a section of media, he told newsmen that the Chief Minister, N Chandrababu Naidu, in fact, wanted to extend as many benefits as possible to the SCs of the state and had provided for Rs 2,731.51 crore of total outlay.
The corporation had adopted several economic programmes like economic support schemes, animal husbandry, subsidies for vulnerable groups, land development and land purchase schemes, interest free loans and training programmes etc. apart from beneficiary awareness programmes.
Moreover, the corporation was able to utilize all the funds as never before and it was seeking funds from the Centre too under various heads to meet the demand.
