MR vaccine drive launched
Every child in the district should be administered Measles Rubella vaccine, said Prakasam District Collector V Vinay Chand. The Collector launched the MR vaccine drive at the municipal high school at Ram Nagar here on Tuesday.
Ongole: Every child in the district should be administered Measles Rubella vaccine, said Prakasam District Collector V Vinay Chand. The Collector launched the MR vaccine drive at the municipal high school at Ram Nagar here on Tuesday.
The Collector said that MR vaccines are being administered through 4,320 government and private schools in the district to 5,71,329 children. He said that the children from nine months to 15 years can be given MR vaccine without any hesitation and asked the parents to see their children are administered vaccine.
He said that all school managements were given clear instructions to cooperate with the vaccination drive scheduled up to September 8 without fail. DMHO Dr J Yasmin, Additional DMHO Dr Padmavati and immunisation officer Dr Sarala were present.
