Tirupati: Endangered slender loris (Devanga Pilli) was spotted by locals at high-density traffic area at the SV University near NARAL guest house here on Wednesday.
A scientist Abhishek who is working in NARAL, first spotted Devanga Pilli near their quarters and tied to a tree for some time.
And they informed spotting of the slender loris to SV Zoo Park authorities. Later the forest staff shifted slender loris to Zoo Park.
According to forest officials, few endangered species of fauna are stormed into residential areas from dense forests on the outskirts of Tirupati in search of food.
