Time extended for filling up of SC, ST backlog posts
SC, ST Commission Chairman Dr Karem Sivaji said that the State government had extended the time for filling up vacant backlog posts across the State. He received grievances from the people at R&B guest house here on Thursday. Interacting with the media persons, the SC, ST Commission Chairman said that they would provide employment to SC, ST youth besides providing training to them.
Nellore: SC, ST Commission Chairman Dr Karem Sivaji said that the State government had extended the time for filling up vacant backlog posts across the State. He received grievances from the people at R&B guest house here on Thursday.
Interacting with the media persons, the SC, ST Commission Chairman said that they would provide employment to SC, ST youth besides providing training to them.
He also warned that they would take stern action against the persons who attack SCs and STs. He said cases under SC, ST Atrocities Act would be filed against those attacking Dalits. The Commission would provide financial assistance to the victims and eyewitnesses in the cases.
The State government has been providing skill development training to the youth from SC/ST communities, he added.
He also said CC roads were being laid in SC/ST colonies with sub-plan funds.
