Infrastructure work progress reviewed
District Collector Veerapandian visited the site of \'Kia Motors\' on Thursday and reviewed the progress of on-going infrastructure development works in Yerramanchi village in Penukonda mandal. He said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is evincing interest in the progress of the project works and is reviewing it daily.
Penukonda (Anantapur): District Collector Veerapandian visited the site of 'Kia Motors' on Thursday and reviewed the progress of on-going infrastructure development works in Yerramanchi village in Penukonda mandal. He said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is evincing interest in the progress of the project works and is reviewing it daily.

He directed the officials to complete the temporary power supply arrangements to the company by the end of the month. The Collector said that he is taking up with higher officials on works relating to forest lands in Bthsampalle in Roddam mandal and railway crossing in Annavaripalle. He also asked the RWS superintendent engineer Hareram Naik to make arrangements for calling tenders for supplying water from Gollapalle reservoir to the company by laying pipelines etc.
He said that the tenders should be called in two weeks. The Collector stated that an exclusive road will be laid directly to the company without disturbing the traffic on the national highway and the through the railway gate. He also visited the Kia Motors township site. RDO Ramamurthy, DIC general manager Sudarshan Babu and Tahsildhar Haseena Sultana accompanied the Collector.
