Srisailam temple doors to be closed on August 7
In view of lunar eclipse on August 7, the temple gates would be closed from 12.30 pm till August 8 morning, stated Srisailam Temple authorities here on Thursday. The authorities have also stated that the temple gates would be opened by 4.00 am on August 8 after cleaning the premises and regular prayers would be performed from 6.30 am.
Kurnool: In view of lunar eclipse on August 7, the temple gates would be closed from 12.30 pm till August 8 morning, stated Srisailam Temple authorities here on Thursday. The authorities have also stated that the temple gates would be opened by 4.00 am on August 8 after cleaning the premises and regular prayers would be performed from 6.30 am.
The devotees would be allowed to have the darshan of the presiding deities after the completion of temple rituals. Even on lunar eclipse day, the temple doors would be opened by 2.30 am and after giving Mangala Harathulu to the deity, seva darshnam would be allowed from 4.30 in the evening.
Arjitha Abhisekams of the deities would be performed on two intervals, once 5.30 am and the second 9.30 and Kunkumarchana would be performed from 5.00 am to 12.00 noon stated the temple authorities.
