Tirumala security to have command & control centre
TTD Executive Officer (EO) Anil Kumar Singhal along with Tirumala JEO KS Srinivasa Raju and CVSO A Ravikrishna inspected various places at Tirumala on Thursday to monitor the ongoing arrangements for the ensuing annual Brahmotsavams. The EO inspected Akshaya Hall, where the Annaprasadams are being prepared.

The hall is located opposite of the Sri Venkateswara Museum. The EO also inspected the elderly people token counter and verified the functioning of the counter. Inspecting the common command control centre in PAC IV, the EO instructed the concerned to renovate the structure in such a way to provide enhanced security cover to Tirumala.
A proposal to construct a ‘video wall’ was mooted which will have integrated network of all CCTV cameras installed in Tirumala from one point. SE II Ramachandra Reddy, VGO Ravindra Reddy and other officers were also present.
TTD nets Rs 5.93-cr in hair auction The temple management of TTD has added Rs 5.93 crore to its coffers in the e-auction of 7,100 kilos of human hair sale held under the supervision of Tirumala JEO KS Srinivasa Raju on Thursday.
