Woman doctor goes missing
Machavaram police on Thursday registered a woman doctor’s missing case following a complaint lodged by her mother. According to Machavaram police, they received a complaint from Korlapati Mariyamma, mother of the missing woman Dr Korlapati Surya Kumari, who has been working at Telladevarapalli village of Vissannapeta mandal.
Vijayawada: Machavaram police on Thursday registered a woman doctor’s missing case following a complaint lodged by her mother. According to Machavaram police, they received a complaint from Korlapati Mariyamma, mother of the missing woman Dr Korlapati Surya Kumari, who has been working at Telladevarapalli village of Vissannapeta mandal.

Mariyamma told the police that his daughter has been working as a government doctor and suspected that she might have gone with one Vidyasagar, son of former MLA Jayaraju. She said Suryakumari had been missing since Monday night and might have gone to Vidyasagar’s house in Machavaram.
Meanwhile, the police noticed that Surya Kumari had gone to the residence of Vidyas agar in the CCTV footage and picked him for questioning. Vidyasagar has been married and father of two children. Surya Kumari is the daughter of Korlapati Vijaya Kumar, working as an executive engineer at Town and Country Planning Department.
Machavaram circle inspector K Uma Maheswara Rao, said: “We have filed a missing case based on the complaint received from missing woman’s mother.” He said police are trying to trace the missing doctor.
