The Andhra Pradesh Eastern Power Distribution Company Limited (APEPDCL) introduced two more new online payment apps Bharat QR and BHIM App UPI (unified payment interface) for connecting its billing system for easy payment of bills through APEPDCL website www.apeasternpower.com and Eastern Power mobile app for consumer convenience in addition to the existing cashless payment modes.

Visakhapatnam: The Andhra Pradesh Eastern Power Distribution Company Limited (APEPDCL) introduced two more new online payment apps Bharat QR and BHIM App UPI (unified payment interface) for connecting its billing system for easy payment of bills through APEPDCL website www.apeasternpower.com and Eastern Power mobile app for consumer convenience in addition to the existing cashless payment modes.

Chairman and Managing Director of APEPDCL MM Nayak launched the two new digital services on Friday.Bharath QR: For payment of electricity bills by using Bharath QR, the consumer has to register with any nationalised bank mobile app, which is having Bharath QR payment mode.

Bharath QR by using bank mobile app, a confirmation request notification will be displayed on bank mobile app. Acceptance on confirmation request notification, the payment receipt will be generated in APEPDCL website.

BHIM App: Download and install BHIM app from google play store for android users and apps stores for IOS users. The consumer has to register bank account with BHIM app. Choose BHIM UPI as payment mode under online bill payment option in APEPDCL website and enter service connection number. Bill details are displayed.

The consumer has to enter mobile number and virtual payment address and click the submit button. Payment confirmation request notification will be sent to consumer's BHIM app. The payment receipt will be generated in APEPDCL website.

The consumers could utilise the app by uploading their mobile and can pay their electricity bills from anywhere at any time as per their convenience, along with other pay bill options like pay bill on line throughwww.apeastern.power.com and those who have net banking facilities through electronic bill presentation and payment (EBPP), by Eastern Power Mobile app and by PayTm.
