GUDA chairman lodges complaint against Jagan
Godavari Urban Development Authority (GUDA) chairman Ganni Krishna had lodged a complaint against YSRC president YS Jaganmohan Reddy in three town police here on Friday. In the complaint Ganni Krishna found fault with Jagan’s comments of \'CM Ni Kalchi Champina Tappuleedu, at a public meeting in Nandyal and suspected of plot against Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu.
Rajamahendravaram / Kurnool: Godavari Urban Development Authority (GUDA) chairman Ganni Krishna had lodged a complaint against YSRC president YS Jaganmohan Reddy in three town police here on Friday. In the complaint Ganni Krishna found fault with Jagan’s comments of 'CM Ni Kalchi Champina Tappuleedu, at a public meeting in Nandyal and suspected of plot against Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu.
He asked police to take stern action against Jagan. Later speaking to reporters, Krishna termed Jaganmohan Reddy as a power monger. “The Opposition leader is trying to destabilise the government by provoking people with baseless statements,” he added.
Meanwhile, in Kurnool, Superintendent of Police Gopinath Jetty said that he has received a memorandum from Mallela Rajasekhar, Zilla Parishad chairman requesting him to examine the inciting speech made by YSR Congress party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy.
“We are examining the tapes. Will take action if it is prima facie found violative of public order,” he added. Rajya Sabha MP TG Venkatesh made a scathing attack on Jagan for making such comments in a public meeting. He said Jagan should know how to respect elders first before aspiring to become the Chief Minister of the state.
