Attacks on Dalits in Gudiwada Mandal's Dondapadu has been condemned by political parties in Andhra Pradesh.
According to reports, the attacks took place when the Dalits were protesting against the land lords for digging Aqua Ponds for Pisciculture.
It is learnt that the land lords are TDP leaders who attacked Dalits. Also, CPM leaders who were supporting the Dalits were beaten with iron rods and swords which led to four persons being critically injured.
With Gudiwada police not taking any action on the issue even after 24 hours, the CPM leaders are demanding for justice.
