, ##SNellore: A warm welcome and an extraordinary felicitation are awaiting the newly elected Vice President of India, M Venkaiah Naidu. Now, all roads lead to VRC grounds where public meeting is being organised for expressing their happiness on the success of their beloved ‘Venkaiah’ and ‘Peddayana’ who achieved national level significance with the second top post in the country.

All leaders irrespective of their party affiliations have planned to felicitate the Vice President Venkaiah on Monday evening at VRC grounds. A committee has been formed with leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party, Telugu Desam, YSR Congress, Congress and other parties joining hands for honouring the newly elected Vice President and are making arrangements for a public meeting at Venkata Giri Rajah’s College grounds followed by a rally by students with huge national flag.
A team consisting of noted philanthropist Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy, educationist Ratnam, Municipal Administration Minister Dr.P.Narayana, Minister Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy, Congress leader Nedurumalli Ramkumar Reddy and Tunga Sivaprabhat Reddy were supervising the arrangements at V.R. College grounds.
Big flexes were displayed in the city congratulating newly elected vice president and welcoming him into the city. Meanwhile, followers of all parties were invited to attend the meeting.‘We are very proud to felicitate Venkaiah Naidu at the V.R.C. grounds where he had started his political career as a student leader.
It witnessed his oratory skills and he addressed several public meetings in the same grounds. We are making huge arrangements to felicitate Naidu here at the same location. About 15,000 students and youth across the district participate a rally with 1,500-meter-long National Flag to welcome Naidu from Police parade grounds up to V.R. College grounds where public meeting is arranged,’ said T. Sivaprabhat Reddy, a committee member.
Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy and T.Sivaprabhat Reddy visited V.R College grounds here on Sunday and observed the arrangements. They directed the staff to make necessary preparations such as drinking water, pandals and others.
Meanwhile, district police officials have been making arrangements for the public meeting. Venkaiah Naidu would participate in the rally from Ayyappagudi centre to V.R.College grounds and further he would be felicitated by leaders. Later, Naidu would address the public, organisers explained.
