Kurnool: TDP district president Somisetty Venkateswarlu on Saturday said that YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) president YS Jaganmohan Reddy was provoking public of Nandyal. He said that they had lodged a complaint against Jaganmohan Reddy for his controversial comments on the Chief Minister during a meeting at Nandyal on August 3.

Addressing a press meet at the party office, he said Jaganmohan Reddy does not have the qualities of a leader. As many as 11 cases were pending on him and at any moment, the court will issue summons to arrest him, he said. Somisetty said Jagan inherited factionalism from his father and by misusing his father’s powers, he amassed crores of rupees wealth illegally.

Recalling an incident during Marri Chenna Reddy in 1989, he said former Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy created unrest at Hyderabad and dethroned him from Chief Minister’s position and this is an open secret. Now, Jagan is following the same tactics, he said.

He said the people of Nandyal are wise enough and are sure to teach a good lesson to Jagan. This by-poll would be the last election to Jagan. He might be in an illusion state that he will win the election by shelling out money but his tantrums won’t reap any results. People of Nandyal are very happy with the developments that are taking place at a rapid speed. Somisetty said that their candidate Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy would win the election with an incredible majority.
